Power FC Pro Help Pretty please

I just bought a second hand PFC Pro (has a little sticker on it etc) but how can I tell?
I have set the rev limiter (the top F/C one) and no revs cut?
also does a fuel cut rev limit sound like a ignition cut one?
dont get me wrong it is a good bit of kit but would like to get the best out of it.

No the cuts sound different. Depending on how aggressive you'll either get pops and small bangs or as Ian H has put it, 'world war 3' eminating from your exhaust!

Have you had this set up by a pro?

Had one in mine - I see you've set the right F/C rev limit (try 4000rpm for testing - gives nice bangs) so

    A) Have you checked the version with the Hand Commander (ETC menu - Prog Version) to make sure it's a Pro (stickers can be transfered)

    B) Daft question - When you tested it was the car stationary? as L/C only activates when stationary.

Fuel Cut/Ignition Cut - Fuel cut sounds fairly quiet with no bangs, Ign cut sounds like a rifle going off. Here's mine at 4000rpm - (http://www.r34gtt.net/ianhlaunchcontrol.wmv)

Well on further investigation I dont have a pro (with ignition cut) as Pro dosent figure on the version etc screen (say RB26DETT ver 4.08). Added to the fact that when I set the secondary rev limit to 3000 when stationary it revs quite happily to 4000.
Also my rev limiter doesnt do or sound anything like that....it sounds more like
    whummpwhummpwhummpwhuump
not a machine gun in sight.....

I want my bee-r back now.......unless you can upgrade the firmware in the apexi box.

So you've been sold something that claims it's something that it isn't?

Yep, I should be annoyed but I was just after a PFC as an upgrade and I didnt pay extra for a pro version so I am not upset really.
I did check that RB could map it before buying because if he couldnt then I would be reet peeed off..

Oh well, if your not too fussed then stick with it. The Bee-R limiter is more than compatible with the power FC so no probs there!

Best toy I have installed anyway besides the hoofing torque the car has!

Thanks guys but I have to save my pennies now. I did have a bee-r but sold that to Daemon (who fitted to his car far quicker than what I was about to do).
However, I really did need a better ECU, can tell that already running on the base PFC map, and once I go and get it tuned and whack on a proper boost controller we shall be sorted. Then I can look at toys again
