Post Wile E. Coyote's road to Time Attack....

Well after a little chat on the phone to Mr Moff (Cheers fella) ive decided that i want to compete in Time attack for 2010...

The first round is at Oulton Park, but as i have very little track time in the R32 GTR i think i will approach Time Attack in a similar way as Moff, by entering a single round as a 'one hit wonder'.

As the track is local to me and ive been round i think Brands hatch (Round 3) will be my choice and plenty of track days before and after the event to get my skill level as high as possible.

Ive been doing hours of research into what things im going to need with the price getting higher and higher, but hey thats motor racing

So far here is my cars current spec:

    Future upgrades:

    Rear Revotec brake ducting

Wider tyres, i have 9.5J wheels atm with 245's so i can go bigger

So if anyone has any of the parts i require sitting in their garage or if any company wants to sponsor me please PM me!

So now i have the winter to try and get myself ready, roll on Time Attack 2010

Gavin it is basically a sprint series, at each event competitors try to do a lap faster than everyone else. Since it is against the clock there is no trading paint etc as your nearest rival might never be on track at the same time as you.

There's more to it than that but that is it in it's essence.

Heres a little video of the guys who always do it first for everyone to follow, going back to 2007 in Tsukuba

You'll see they have quite a few classes over there with Station wagons even taking part!

Only need 1 set for the year, unless you are racing in another series, or have to take them off for any reason during the year.
