    My new daily

Picked it up a few weeks ago but got it MOT'd and taxed yesterday. Swapped the insurance over from the bus and now its all ready to go.

There has been some welding carried out to the rear of the passenger side cill which was only spot welded, not seam welded as it should have been. The guy said he couldnt pass it because of that. I asked him if he had any seam sealer that i could borrow, made him go into the office and sprayed the offending area so the welds couldnt be seen. Got him to come back out and BAM, what you cant see you cant test

Its a 1992 with 63086 miles on the clock. Its got a 99% full service history with paperwork that includes work carried out under warranty in 1993 (replacement of the made of cheese valves) and the original registration docs.

Have you ever seen one of these

That looks like a very clean example Mel

It must feel about half the size of the Stagea to drive though

It feels tiny, have to get used to parking a barge now - spaces seem massive.

Its obviously much more nimble though

    Cheers

    First parts have arrived

    Genuine jdmness

As from the end of the month i should have reduced my debt enough to free up the necessary cash to sort out the 5 stud conversion, refurbing the enkeis and coilovers before trouble arrives in May. Just in time for the Duxford show hopefully (thats my target date anyway).

Seem to have a problem with the earthing point on the passenegr side as it keeps going out as you can see from these pics
