Welcome to the new version of the SOC Forum

Adam, myself and Keith (At Gridstar) have been working throughout the night to install this entirely new version of vBulletin. Please take a few minutes to look around and work out where everything is.

There are some new things which have been added, a few things taken away and a whole load of things to be added in the near future. So please bear with us while these are added.

Jelsoft have changed the enitre layout inside and of admin and also neglected to add a few things, so some things will take a little longer to update. Also, once they release the next version we will be closing the forum again, but hopefully only for a few minutes.

If there are any features which you think we could benefit from or you find are missing, please let either myself or adam know and we will add them in due course if needed. The current colour scheme is not finished as of now, purely as its late and we want to stop! When we have a little more time we will come up with a few different choices for you to choose from.

Last of all we would like to thank you all for letting us steal your forum for a night to enable us to run this large upgrade and we hope you get used to it soon!

    What he said ^^

Please do not moan and groan about changes, or colour schemes as these can't be helped for now.. but there are two for now to choose from via the bottom left drop down box

Hope you enjoy the new version, there are many things to re-add but you can't rebuild Rome twice in one day

Right, I need my beauty sleep! Any complaints can go directly to Dan, or enjoy my avatar (I had to test something )

christ it will take some getting used too

i just noticed it was quite hard to log in as there doesn't appear to be 2 box's for user name and password, if your having trouble use the TAB key after your user name to move to the password box

You can revert to the plane style for this version. But vBulletin are nolong supporting vBulletin 3.x and now only 4.x so have no choice.

This will take some getting used to, but it does seem rather 'modern'

All the writing is tiny though, I'll need my glasses more !!!

Yes, well done chaps... as Moff says and you both predicted, things are going to take some getting used to, but until you have 100% finished the upgrade (and given us the Traitors colour scheme back) everyone should reserve judgement.
