does the gtst head fit the stagea the stagea as a different casting no to the gtst any ideas

Yes, they will cross fit.

The sumps / blocks are different though due to the transfer box. Blocks can be tapped to fit.

well ive got a proper head scratcher here
replaced the head due to the cam carrier being buggered
no1 piston battered the head so i replaced the head again and gess what no 1 piston is still hitting the head so i thought a big end prob wipped the engine out bottom end ok small end ok i cannot find any reason for the problem
the only thing i can think of is the gtst head and head gaskest are different any ideas
