Rb 25 Eagle Rods Wiseco Pistons

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading the internals. Would this do the job?

I thought that.... But will it do the job? The con rods seem to be for both RB25 & RB26 . Do they use the same rods for both engines ?

Yes Neil, back to the same old tale as with the head gasket, until you you know your current bore size it is a gamble to order before the engine is removed. They will be the right ones for 90% of rebuilds as std bore is 86mm.

Not many go to the length of replacing rods too but they will allow you to rev a bit more, the next restriction with be the hydraulic lifters but for reliability fitting uprated rods is a good move.

What turbo and cams have you got in mind?

I was going to go with Tomei pon cams. I'm open to suggestions on the turbo.

The 2835 proS seems to be a good unit, have you got a hp goal in mind or are you just after a strong engine with plenty of umph?

Ive not really got a figure in mind. At the moment the car is 335 @the wheels.
With those internals changed what could i go up to safely?

It is more a case of revs and good mapping, 600hp shouldn't be an issue

By Tuesday I'll be able to report back on the Billet Turbo. I'm expecting good things.

A set of standard gtr rods would be just as good as those eagle rods, look at the sealer around the oil pump to sump if its grey chances are it will be standard bore size 86mm

i have a set of Wiseco's in stock mate
