You would need a GTST gearbox to be safe, it is a big job to be honest, contact gtsdan on here as he did his own conversion and can give you an idea for costs. As a rough guess if using a second hand motor you will still be looking at a minimum of 3000.

It's certainly do-able, with all that extra power and torque though - don't forget the brakes.
There is no such thing as cynicism, it is merely realism born out of experience.

It has been done before - why not use the money to change it to a cabrio?
Me? Serious? Nah...... Well, not always.

my ears were burning. if you email me at dc-performance@hotmail.co.uk ive got a complete break down of all the parts you need and a rough cost ect.
Once you have all the parts its do-able in a good weekend. all depends on your budget and spec.

How much work is it to convert a GTT to a GTR?
is it just a case of manifolds, turbo`s, inlet and exhaust pipes?

Do you mean a GTR engined GTT? if so you would need the complete engine inc ancillaries, intercooler, wiring loom (ideally from R34 GTR) and a means of controlling it all.

If you look on Ian H's site you may find more info as he had his converted http://www.r34gtt.net/
