    My 306 Track car

Ok, so its probably about a million miles away from a Skyline as you can get but I am hoping to make this a half decent track weapon.

It has started its life as a 1995 306 S16. The S16 is the 2ltr 155BHP car used for the homologation of the 306 kit car. Its not all that fast at the moment, but it was cheap and I am hoping by spending a little money on it I can have some track fun.

So far I have stripped most of the interior out, fitted a set of coilovers, changed the inlet manifold, fitted new brakes and some front strut braces ( top and bottom )

I plan to get the car set up on corner weights and then have the ECU remapped once I have decatted the system. I am hoping this will take it up to around 170bhp.

It will be running STICKY tryes on track, so I am hoping what it loses on the straights it will make up for on the bends

Its not pretty but I hope it will be a laugh

They were quite a laugh to drive - I keep getting tempted to buy a cheap track car as the wife will not let me use her TVR

Knew you could not last without a toy in the garage to play with Mr Pegg

I keep having dirty thoughts about a Mk2 RS 2000 along with other cars.

Get some decent pics up Nigel, they look shite

Finally got the Brakes and the front suspension sorted today

The rear beam will be reset and sorted soon then it will be full steam ahead.

I have also just secured a cage too, so I now need to find someone who is handy with a welder to fit it into the car for me

Done a bit more work to project "Frog"

I have now completly stripped the interior, and hacked bits off the sunroof mountings to accept the Saftey Devices roll cage.

Shouldnt be too long now and I will be able to start abusing it around some track

Not much lateral support either......until you slide into the trans tunnel or door that is
I used to be someone around here!
Now I'm quite happy being no-one somewhere else.

    Normal services will resume....eventually.

True, my skinny arse would be lost in there....
