401.7 Atf

Heres my dyno sheet after my mapping was done last week.

Firstly, how does it look.

Secondly, last year I had 390lb torque, now I dont - how come? Where did Mr.Torque go???

Im happy with 400bhp, so how do I get the torque up?

Power curve looks smooth, nice and progressive. Nothing wrong there. You can loose torque if the cars set up for max top end hp, rather than mid-range grunt.

Is it the same dyno, as last year?

Even if it is, repeatability is nigh on impossible unless you have a really fancy dyno a la Abbey or GtArt and even then prevailing conditions at the time appear to play a larger part than people think.

What have you changed since last year?

If you had 390 ft/lb of torque last year with less hp I will eat my hat, and yours

Remember Alex that these graphs should be treated more as a guide as flywheel figures are all guestimated

I got lots of dyno print outs from differant dynos, some will make you laugh out loud!!

But the power curve is always the same (given the graph is always the same), so treat it as a guide to show drops in power, torque etc.

Had 401.5 bhp last year with 390lb of torque.

Since then (everything maxing out and boost cut down to cope) changed injectors to 740cc, HKS clutch and fitted Z32, then remapped - so you can say its about the same but with al the components to cope this time round.

390ft lb seems far too high imo

I have around 400hp atf and only 325ft lb of torque ATH and i've not seen many cars come close to this , normally see 310 or so ATH maybe 350ft lbs at the fly

It was 390lb/ft, tried to find my dyno sheet from last year, but dont know where I've put it. It was when the HKS2535 was fitted.

The most I got out of a 2535 was 350-ish ft/lb. Same torque as what Andy W got out of it.

390 ft/lb on a RB25 on a usual set up is more like 500hp than 400

Here we go, 401.5bhp & 390lb ft.

I did believe it cause it was from the dyno, if they arent believable then whats the point ... boo hoo!

Anyway, point I was making is from the dyno last year compared to this the figure is down down down, so wondered how come.

This ones with HKS2535, FMIC, Manual boost controller, standard injectors maxing out, afm maxing out and 10 miles down the road standard clutch started to slip.

I had 400 ft/lb of torque with 505bhp @ flywheel.

Either your figures are very wrong Deggers or mine are!

It could be both are wrong
