    Refurbing

My Ultralites are looking abit past their best as they just had a quick 'it'll do' job a few years back.
The problem i have is im soon to refurb them but unsure which way to go.

Gold with chrome lip when i got them, laquer then cracked and started peeling so gave them a blow over in black.

Can either go back to gold or redo the black with possibly a polished lip or a totally different design and colour all together.

    Thoughts?

Black looks the dogs. Personally, I'd go solid black powder coat as it's more durable.

Personallly speaking I'm not keen on black. I think you lose the definition of the spokes etc. They just look like black blobs to me but that's just my opinion.

I'd stick with the gold out of the two choices

I'd also go with the gold - sets off the unique body colour. The all-black wheels look muted to me.

I've got black alloys on one of my cars & gold on another

I hate black as why would you spend that kind of money on alloys that you can't see ?

Should I say any more !!!

Getting a quote to go gold with chrome lipping again. Unless anyone can think of something that could look better? Nothing crazy like my day glow drift wheels

    Eek. Just had a reply.

..... Hi we can do the gold no problem but the chrome is a little more tricky as we will have to diamond cut them to get the right finish which can be quite a expensive process at around 100 per rim
